CaveSim

One special addition to our convention this year, is over 40 feet of cave passage will move to Glenwood Springs this July for Convention!   Inside CaveSim

CaveSim is a crawl-through obstacle course that actually looks like a cave, complete with artificial cave formations that mimic delicate formations found in real caves. When crawling through CaveSim, the goal is to avoid hitting the artificial formations, which beep when accidentally bumped with the patient or by the rescuers.

Each bump to a formation is recorded by a computer that gives the rescue team a final score when they exit the passage. CaveSim made its debut at the Colorado Cave Rescue Seminar last year; it was a huge hit.

This is really an amazing piece of functional artwork combined with high tech electronics.
