PRESENTATIONS
All proposed presentations should be related to speleology, but can encompass any scientific, technical, cultural, or educational aspect.

Schedule

ABSTRACTS:
Abstracts should be single-spaced in Times New Roman 10-point font, aligned on both margins, with each side margin 1 inch (8.5″ x 11″, the standard U.S. letter setting). Files must be readable in Microsoft Word. The abstract must use metric units. No indentations should be used for paragraphs, and a blank line should divide paragraphs. The following information and format should precede the abstract:

Author(s) Names

Affiliation(s) and address(es)

The abstract text box is limited to 250 words and should not include footnotes, tables, figures, maps, bibliographic references, or acknowledgments. Abstracts should be a summary of conclusions and results, not a statement of what topics the presentation will cover.

Submission Process
Potential presenters must submit one abstract for each proposed presentation to the session moderator or sessions@nss2011.com by April 15, 2011. Please put the relevant discipline in the subject line, such as: Subject: NSS Convention abstract: International Exploration. Potential presenters should also inform the moderator of the length of time requested and any audio/visual equipment needed.  If you are unsure what session is appropriate for your presentation, send your abstract and information to the Sessions Chair, Louise Hose, at sessions@nss2011.com.

Additional Sessions And Workshops: Additional sessions, workshops, or other activities are welcome on a space available basis.  If you are interested in organizing an activity, please notify Louise Hose (sessions@nss2011.com) so she can get the activity in the schedule.

Session Schedule: A draft schedule will be sent to the session chairs in early March.
